These terms apply to any order placed on Co-Sport: a subscription, a coaching session booked with a professional, or a paid service offered on the platform. They supplement the terms of use.

1.Purpose and scope

These terms set out the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the distance sale of services offered by Co-Sport to members of the platform, whether consumers or professionals.

In the event of a conflict, they prevail over the terms of use in everything concerning price, ordering, payment, withdrawal, warranty and refunds.

2.Seller identification

The seller is the publisher of the platform, whose company name, legal form, registered address, registration number, VAT number and contact details appear in the legal notice, to which express reference is made.

3.What is on offer

Three kinds of transaction coexist on the platform, and they do not follow the same rules:

Co-Sport subscription

  • Taken out directly with Co-Sport, on a monthly or annual basis.
  • Gives access to additional features, described on the offer page at the time of purchase.
  • Renewable, and cancellable at any time for the following period.

Coaching sessions

  • The service is provided by an independent coach, not by Co-Sport.
  • Co-Sport acts as a technical intermediary for matching and collecting payment, and takes a commission.
  • The price, duration and location of the session are set by the coach and displayed before booking.

Sales between members

  • Second-hand equipment and bib transfers, sold by one member to another.
  • Co-Sport is neither seller, nor agent, nor party to the contract: it hosts the listing.
  • The contract, the payment and the delivery are matters for the seller and the buyer alone.

4.Premium features are currently free

As of today, all platform features are available free of charge: no subscription is billed. These terms nevertheless apply to coaching services and will govern subscriptions as soon as they go live.

No amount will ever be charged to you without the price, duration and renewal terms having been presented to you clearly, and without you having expressly confirmed your order.

5.Prices

Prices are shown in euros and include all taxes.

  • The applicable price is the one displayed when the order is confirmed.
  • A breakdown of the amount, including the platform commission where relevant, is shown before payment.
  • Any price change to an ongoing subscription is notified to you at least one month before it takes effect, with the option to cancel free of charge.
  • Any delivery costs for an item sold between members are agreed directly between them and do not pass through Co-Sport.

6.Ordering

The ordering process has five steps:

  • Selecting the service, with its main characteristics and price displayed.
  • Reviewing the summary, which lets you correct any mistakes.
  • Accepting these terms of sale.
  • Confirming the order, which entails an obligation to pay.
  • Paying through the payment provider.

A confirmation email summarising the order is sent to you. The contract is formed when that confirmation is received.

7.Payment

Payment is made online at the time of the order.

  • Transactions are handled by an authorised payment provider, identified in the legal notice and in the privacy policy.
  • Co-Sport never has access to your full card number, which is neither transmitted to nor stored on its servers.
  • If the payment is declined, the order is not confirmed and the service is not provided.

8.Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw, without having to give a reason or bear any penalty.

  • Withdrawal is exercised by any unambiguous statement sent to our contact address, or using the standard form.
  • The refund is made no later than fourteen days after your request is received, using the same payment method.
  • For a coaching session booked on a specific date, cancellation is also subject to the notice period agreed with the coach, described below.

Important exception: for a digital service supplied immediately, the right of withdrawal is lost once you have expressly requested immediate performance and acknowledged losing that right. This request is presented to you separately at the time of the order; failing that, the fourteen-day period applies in full.

A standard withdrawal form is available on request from our contact address.

9.Subscription term, renewal and cancellation

The subscription runs for the term chosen and renews automatically unless cancelled.

  • You may cancel at any time from your settings, in a few clicks and without contacting support.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, which has already been paid for; access remains open until then.
  • An annual subscription is subject to the statutory reminder before renewal, with the option not to renew.
  • Deleting your account terminates the subscription.

10.Terms specific to coaching

The session is provided by the coach, under their sole professional responsibility.

  • Time slots, price and the location or format of the session are set and displayed by the coach before booking.
  • Co-Sport takes a commission on the session amount; the rate is disclosed to both coach and buyer before confirmation.
  • The member may cancel within the notice period announced by the coach; beyond that, the session may still be payable.
  • If the coach cancels or fails to deliver the session, the amount paid is refunded in full.

11.Terms specific to sales between members

Second-hand equipment and bib listings are sales between private individuals.

  • Co-Sport hosts the listing and connects members; it is involved neither in forming nor in performing the contract.
  • The seller warrants that they own the item, describe its condition faithfully, and comply with the organiser's rules in the case of a bib.
  • The statutory warranties of conformity and against hidden defects do not fall on Co-Sport; between private individuals, only the hidden-defects warranty applies.
  • A listing that breaches the law or the terms of use is removed and may lead to a sanction.

Never settle a transaction between members outside the arrangements provided for, and be wary of any request for payment by instant transfer, prepaid voucher or external link: these are the most common fraud patterns on listings of this kind.

12.Statutory warranties

For services sold by Co-Sport, you benefit from the warranties provided by law:

  • The statutory warranty of conformity, which allows you to have the digital service brought into conformity or, failing that, to obtain a price reduction or termination of the contract.
  • The warranty against hidden defects, which allows you to obtain termination of the contract or a price reduction.

13.Invoicing

An invoice is issued for each payment and remains available from your account. Accounting records are kept for ten years, as required by law, including after the account is deleted: they are then detached from your profile and stored outside the service.

14.Liability

Our liability for the services sold is assessed under the general law. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to consumers by law, in particular as regards statutory warranties, or excludes our liability in the event of gross negligence or personal injury.

15.Complaints and mediation

Any complaint must first be sent to our contact address, given in the legal notice. We undertake to acknowledge receipt and to reply.

Failing a satisfactory outcome, and if you are a consumer, you may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator whose details appear in the legal notice, within one year of your written complaint.

The European Commission also provides an online dispute resolution platform, accessible from its official website.

16.Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer resident in another European Union country, you retain the benefit of the mandatory provisions of your country of residence and the right to bring proceedings before the court of your domicile.
